A healthy body with a healthy mind and a healthy attitude contributes a lot towards leading a healthy life. It can be maintained if one has a good social and physical environment. It prevails in one’s life, if that individual has his control and concern about his own health and body
There are several ways for maintaining a healthy life such as
· Having proper nutritional food and health drinks as per the requirements of our age and activities to keep ourselves active, energetic and strengthen our immunity system thus keeping ourselves free from diseases.
· We should be very careful while taking care of our personal cleanliness and should think about our personal hygiene such as cleaning our hands properly before having food, brushing our teeth twice a day, taking bath regularly, , regular changing and washing of clothes. Etc.
· Eating fibrous and clean foods free from contamination such as fruits, green vegetables, pulses, grains, etc.
· Drinking sufficient plain water (at least 8-10 glasses of water)every day, keeps us fit and active.Water keeps our internal organs free from germs and helps in quick digestion of the intake food. · We should avoid taking meals outside our home such as in restaurants, canteens.
· One should avoid drinking excessive alcohols and drop smoking habits as it may show adverse effect on our health.
· Social Equality, harmony and healthy relations with other members of our family, society and community, helps us to maintain a happy and healthy life in the long run.
· One should go for regular physical fitness exercises to loose his/her weight if he/she is suffering from obesity or overweightness.
